Serkan Yilmaz is an experienced trainer, professional coach and consultant, who so far has been a training consultant for Fortune 500 companies, lived in Berlin, Germany and Baku, Azerbaijan, has trained over 20000 employees and has been internationally rewarded for his projects.
After graduating from the Faculty of Management at Istanbul University in 2002, Serkan Yilmaz started his career in the Human Resources department of the Baku Airport Project at ENKA Construction LTD.
Between 2003 and 2005, he managed Human Resources and Financial Affairs departments in ERENPORT Construction LTD, S.O.S. Kinderdorf Baku Project and Nahcivan International Airport Project.
From 2005 to 2009, he worked in sales and marketing positions at Abdi İbrahim Pharmaceuticals LTD and AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LTD. In 2006, he won the highest performing worker award at AstraZeneca.
In 2009, Yilmaz began working at Turkcell in Customer Management and provided consultation to over 150 large-scale corporate customers. In 2011, he became a senior instructor in Turkcell Academy and shared his experience in sales and customer management with trainees.
Until 2015, Yilmaz conducted the development needs analysis of Turkcell Corporate sales teams, the design and application of the work orientation program, as well as providing sales coaching, and executive coaching for Corporate Solutions Center executives. After receiving TCI (Team Coaching International) training in Amsterdam in 2015, he helped raise the performance of these teams by coaching them.
Between 2015 and 2017, he directed the sales, marketing and retention activities in the biggest Turkcell Academy project to date, Turkcell Academy Corporate (LMS), as part of the Corporate Training Solutions team, contributed to the acquisition of a significant share in the market, and provided distant education consultation to many Fortune 500 companies.
He is an experienced instructor and he is also an ICF-accredited Professional Coach.
Yilmaz is deeply interested in psychology. He received Jungian Coaching training in Ljubljana, Slovenia from Prof.Dr. Avi Goren Bar for a year and became one of the first Jungian coaches in the world in 2016. In addition, he has been a student of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hanna Nita Scherler for the last four years. He received Expressive Art Therapy training at Bilgi University.
He continues his career as a consultant, coach and trainer and is a permanent staff of Sabanci University Executive Development Unit. He has worked with national and international companies such as Turkcell, Superonline, Vaillant, Demirdöküm, Pronet,KVK.. His mission is, for his trainings to be beneficial in a permanent way and his motto is, coming from his muay thai instructor's, "it won't happen in one day, but it will happen one day!"
